Reading the Hanuman Chalisa with kids — tips?

Trying to build a small evening practice with my kids (7 and 10) around the Hanuman Chalisa. The 10-year-old asks great questions I can't always answer. How do others handle the 'but what does it MEAN' conversations? Any kid-friendly translations you'd recommend?
